How is typing speed measured?
In words per minute (WPM), where every five characters you type — letters, spaces and punctuation — count as one word. It is the same convention government typing tests use when they turn key depressions into WPM. Your results also show accuracy, because most exams cap the mistakes you can make.
Which Hindi keyboard layouts can I learn?
Four: Mangal InScript (the Unicode government standard), Mangal Remington GAIL (the typewriter layout in Unicode), and the legacy Kruti Dev 010 and Devlys 010 fonts that many state, CPCT and court exams still use. Each has its own lessons and practice tests.
