UP Police Computer Operator Hindi Typing Mock Test

01About this test

UPPRPB typing skill test for SI Confidential, ASI Clerk, ASI Accounts and Computer Operator Grade A. It is qualifying: you must clear the speed and 85% accuracy in every language your post requires.

02Rules

1. 1Each mock test uses its own fixed passage, so you can retake it and compare results.
2. 2Choose your Hindi keyboard layout - InScript, Remington GAIL or Kruti Dev - before the test begins. It cannot be changed during the test.
3. 3Duration: 15 minutes per language. English is typed first, then a 10-minute break, then Hindi.
4. 4Speed: 30 WPM in English and 25 WPM in Hindi (15 WPM in Hindi for ASI Accounts).
5. 5Accuracy: at least 85%, counted as net correct words out of the words in the passage.
6. 6Full mistakes (1 each): omitted, wrong, extra, misspelt, repeated or incomplete words. Half mistakes (0.5 each): spacing, capitalisation, punctuation, transposition and paragraph errors.
7. 7Start each new paragraph with the Tab key - spaces count as a half mistake.
8. 8Hindi is typed in Mangal on the InScript layout; Kruti Dev and Remington GAIL are not allowed in the real exam.
