Bombay High Court Clerk typing test: 10 minutes of English typing on computer, 20 marks, minimum 10.
02Rules
- 1Each mock test uses its own fixed passage, so you can retake it and compare results.
- 2Duration: 10 minutes, English only, on computer.
- 3Passage of 400 words. The test is worth 20 marks; the minimum to pass is 10.
- 4Fail the typing test and you are not considered for the post, whatever your screening score.
- 5The advertisement does not publish the marks formula. This practice gives 1 mark for every 20 correct words.
- 6Backspace is off here - candidates report it disabled; the advertisement does not say.
03How you are scored
Marks = correct words / 20 (400 correct words = 20 marks). Pass = 10 marks = 200 correct words in 10 minutes.
04Important notes
- The typing marks are added to the merit with the screening test (90) and viva-voce (40).
- Eligibility already needs a 40 WPM English typing certificate.
