AIIMS CRE skill test for Junior Administrative Assistant / LDC and UDC / Senior Administrative Assistant posts. It is qualifying.
02Rules
- 1Each mock test uses its own fixed passage, so you can retake it and compare results.
- 2Duration: 10 minutes.
- 3Speed: 35 WPM in English or 30 WPM in Hindi (10,500 / 9,000 key depressions an hour).
- 4There is no error allowance: each full mistake deducts 10 words, each half mistake 5.
- 55 key depressions count as one word.
- 6Backspace is allowed. Recent tests had no word or error highlighting and no auto-scroll.
- 7The space bar stops working once you have typed as many words as the passage has.
03How you are scored
Net speed = (key depressions / 5 - mistakes x 10) / minutes. Accuracy = net speed / gross speed x 100.

- Some earlier sittings ran for 15 minutes - check the skill-test notice for yours.
